Mark Adair, M.B.A., C.A.P., P.M.P.

Mark Adair is a project manager for Maverick Technologies, a Rockwell Automation company. His career has spanned over 20 years in the process control and systems automation industry. After his education at Georgia Tech was put on hold due to Hurricane Ike, he decided to pursue his BS in Operations and Project Management at Southern New Hampshire University where he graduated cum laude. Through dedication and tenacity, he has earned awards at his former employers namely Avid Solution’s Gold Award and Yokogawa’s Vigilance Award.  Mark’s driving passion is sustainability and the environment. 

He has written several articles on the subject. This passion compelled him to further his education and earning his MBA in the field of energy and sustainability. Mark is an ISA Certified Automation Professional, all of his continuing education requirements to maintain his certification have been in the field of alternative energy. A strong analytical and critical thinker, Mark is also creative. These characteristics are key to being able to work across functional areas, to help drive engagement, awareness, and initiatives. Mark is a steward for global change. He believes that by keeping sustainability practical, it helps in driving long-term profitability.

Mark’s other passion is boxing. When Mark isn’t managing multiple projects, he spends his time as a USA Boxing coach working with his son. This mentoring has helped him to win his division in the 2017 Georgia Golden Gloves Championships.
